Road Course - Hole #8
Road #8 is a classic dogleg left that tees off downhill
and approaches to an uphill green. Trees border the left side,
penalizing those who miss while making an aggressive play to shorten the
hole. Those who successfully hit up the left side are however given a
wedge into a very receptive green. Missing right leaves a wide open shot
to the green, but go too far and you will be hitting a long shot up the
hill from deep rough or a bunker. The green is large and slopes from
back to front, so never be above the hole. However land short and your
ball can spin back more than ten yards leaving a testy, uphill chip. Par
is a great score here.
