Road Course - Hole #4
At 424 yards, Road #4 is the number 1 handicap hole on
the course. The hole plays considerably longer sloping uphill with a
slight dogleg to the left, but can be shortened by playing a tee shot up
the left side. Be careful not to miss this fairway however, because it
will leave you with a long iron out of heavy rough. Pines and Cyprus
trees are waiting to catch the more errant of drives and make reaching
this green in two almost impossible. If the hole is not hard enough,
bunkers protect the front of the green from golfers who try to bounce
their approaches in. A ridge divides this green in half and can leave
extremely tricky putts so be sure to leave your shot on the same level
as the pin.
